All vessel shapes that we see in our daily life, excluding the flat dish, are also found in Jomon pottery. The deep bowls and shallow bowls in Nos. 5 ~ 8 (top through second from bottom, p. 107) are almost 50 cm in size, suitable for a large group of people to share a meal together.
On the body of pottery No. 8 (second from bottom, p. 107) is a decoration of a pair of eyes and a nose.
Also, jar-shaped pottery started to appear around the end of the Jomon period, but are few and far between.
